Review guidelines

Every published review was submitted directly on Cyberprovider.ch. We do not buy reviews, we do not import them from other platforms, and we do not generate them automatically.

Reviews may be written by people who actually worked with the provider as a customer. Providers must not review themselves, and neither may their employees.

After submitting, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Without that confirmation a review is never published.

We ask for a work email address because it lets us tie the review to a real company. The address is never published.

Once confirmed, our team reviews each submission individually before it becomes visible. Nothing is approved automatically.

We check for plausibility: do the service, role, company size and project year fit together, and does the text describe a concrete engagement? Where we have doubts, we ask or we do not publish.

We do not publish submissions containing abuse, personal data about third parties, confidential contract details, advertising, or claims that are demonstrably false. A good review may be critical; it has to stay verifiable.

Provider profiles only show reviews submitted on Cyberprovider.ch. We do not display star averages pulled together from other portals, and no assessments produced by a language model.

An AI-assisted rating framework that was planned earlier has been discontinued and will not be published.

Individual reviews are shown from the first verified review. An average, a star rating or a recommendation rate is shown only once a provider has at least 2 verified reviews. A single review cannot produce an average that means anything.

Until that threshold is reached, the structured data on the page contains no rating either. Search engines therefore never show a star rating that the page itself does not display.

If a review is inaccurate, abusive or obviously fake, report it to info@cyberprovider.ch with a link to the provider profile and a short explanation.

We look into every report. Where there is reasonable doubt we take the review offline while we investigate, and delete it if it does not hold up.

Reviewed providers may respond to any review. Write to info@cyberprovider.ch and we will pass the response on and, if you wish, publish it as a statement next to the review.

A review is not removed simply for being critical. What gets removed is what breaches these guidelines.

We publish the name, role, company size, service used, project year and the text of the review. The reviewer's email address and company name stay internal.

We do not pass review data to third parties and we do not sell it. If you offer to act as a reference, we contact you at most to briefly confirm the engagement, and even then we do not hand out your contact details.

You can have your review changed or deleted at any time. A short message to info@cyberprovider.ch is enough.
